Klimpt Paintings Leap off the Canvas at Vienna’s Life Ball

In the early Spring of this year the city of Vienna lit up with art and culture for the 23rd Annual Life Ball, an annual fundraiser to “[draw] attention to the medical and social consequences of HIV/AIDS.” The inspiration for this years ball was drawn from the Vienna Secession artistic movement, and focused strongly on the art of Gustav Klimpt. Human artists were used to create real-life interpretations of Klimpt’s iconic artwork, and the results were nothing short of spectacular.
